Ritual river bath at dawn, rebirth after the initiation
The initiation

The initiation · Integration

The journey continues. What was received needs time to take root. Here is what we recommend, at your own pace.

The spirit of integration — Ebando

The journey at Ebando does not end when you leave. Integration begins on your return, and lasts several months. Nothing is rushed: the work continues deep down, gently, where it needs to happen.

Here is what we recommend.

01 · Recommended sobriety

A supportive frame, not a constraint.

Before the initiation

During the two weeks before the initiation, you stay free of medicinal plants, drugs, alcohol and medication (except prescriptions approved by the team). This is essential to the safety of the ceremony.

After the initiation

We strongly recommend staying sober for four to six months after the initiation. This period is not a constraint: it is a support for integration.

Let time do its work

“ Do not fight it, do not force it. Welcome it with patience. ”

02 · The return to daily life

A gradual return.

  1. First weeks

Gentleness, sleep, nourishing food, quiet time. Avoid major decisions.

  2. Months 1 to 3

Gradually resume your activities. Listen to what is changing within you. Write it down if you can.

  3. Months 4 to 6

A deeper integration. Daily life resumes, with a different quality of presence.

03 · Listening and support

What you may feel.

Several sensations are possible, at your own pace:

  • Unfamiliar emotions, coming in waves
  • Stronger intuitions
  • A changed relationship to sleep and dreams
  • Late realisations
  • At times, moments of vulnerability

All of this is part of the process. Do not fight it, do not force it. Welcome it with patience.

If you feel the need, talk about it

  • To someone close you trust
  • To an aligned spiritual or therapeutic guide
  • To Ebando — we remain available

A transmission, not a promised cure

What continues within you.

Ebando passes on a tradition. The path, and what opens up afterwards, belong to the person who returns. The team imposes nothing once you have left: it remains a point of support, available whenever you feel the need.

Understand the tradition

04 · Staying in touch with Ebando

You are not alone after you leave.

The simplest way is to write to us on WhatsApp (the team replies in French and English), or by email at OngEbando@gmail.com if you:

  • Have a question
  • Are going through a difficult moment
  • Wish to share a positive integration
  • Want to come back one day

We read. We reply. The bond stays alive.

05 · Further resources

Not required, but helpful.

  • Keep an integration journal
  • Gentle meditation, yoga, walking in nature
  • If needed, see an aligned therapist (Ebando does not provide a list — you find your own alignment)
  • Read accounts from other initiates

The bond stays alive

You can write at any time, even years later.

The Ebando team remains here. In French as in English.
